WHO ARE WE?
The National Ski Patrol is a member-driven professional organization of registered ski patrols, patrollers and others, both paid and volunteer. The NSP supports its members through credentialed education and training in leadership, outdoor emergency care, safety and transportation services, which enables members to serve the community in the safe enjoyment of outdoor recreation.
Vision
NSP’s Vision is to be recognized as the premier provider of training and education programs for emergency rescuers who serve the outdoor recreation community.
Membership Benefits
Your affiliation with the National Ski Patrol means that you are part of a dynamic group of individuals whose love of the outdoors is matched only by your commitment to helping others. Since the NSP was founded in 1938 the organization has grown to approximately 27,000 members—and it is still growing. This steady evolution is due to the widespread use and endorsement of NSP educational programs, which address the unique training needs of outdoor care providers. Individual members have helped fuel this growth by spreading the good word about the NSP and the many benefits of affiliation. What follows is a list of those benefits, which are provided to all members of the National Ski Patrol. Additional benefits may come through programs delivered at local levels of the organization.
